The winery surrounds a
classical New Zealand colonial homestead set in picturesque gardens with
an Andalusian horse stud. Their Award wines are available from the
vineyard only.

Karaka Vineyard was
established in 1950 by the Cote Ante Erceg, whose ports and sherries
have been enjoyed throughout the Auckland region. Today, their range has
been extended to include Cabernet, Muller Thurgau and Chardonnay.

This vineyard produces hand
made red wines from the classic Bordeaux varieties grown on the
property.
Puriri
Hills takes its name from the native puriri trees growing on the 93
acre property. There are private walks through the vineyards, farmland
and native bush from which this uniquely wild, yet gentle, countryside
can be appreciated.
The vineyard also offers luxury lodge accommodation.
