Open Spaces Strategy
Papakura District Council’s
District-wide Strategy to develop an integrated open space system based
on an environmental assessment and user needs. Open Space is most easily
defined as land and the air space above, which are not developed for
residential, commercial or transportation uses, and for most part, free

activity strategy has been developed to determine how Papakura can
position itself to take maximum advantage of regional initiatives to
increase participation in sport, physical activity and active recreation

and Cycling Strategy outlines Council’s commitment to walking and
cycling as important modes of transport and recreation. It gives an
overview of focus areas and priorities for action in order for Papakura
to have environments and systems that support and encourage safe walking

The Auckland Business Land
Strategy provides a strategic framework for future business growth in
the Auckland region to 2031 that is consistent with the overall
