Here you’ll find information on the wide range of services that the operational units of the Council undertake in the District.
From the maintenance and development of the District’s transport network, road safety, waste management and stormwater infrastructure to building consents and issuing Liquor Licences, the Regulatory and Works and Services Units of the Council manage the activities.
Our roading engineers carry out the maintenance and development of the District’s roading network. This could range from minor maintenance repairs, road closures for events, traffic surveys and road safety campaigns to major construction works.
And with Papakura’s population expected to increase by 25% over the next decade, how we manage our stormwater infrastructure is critical to the environmental health of the District. By focusing on and planning for the future, we’ll be able to reduce the impact of flooding and pollution in the District.
Clicking on the navigation menu on the left of your screen, will take you to more detailed information about your roads, our stormwater network, building and resource consents, rubbish collections, excessive noise and what to do if you get a parking ticket.
