The Works
and Services Unit manages the
permit application process for people or
organisations wanting to carry out activities or construction on our
roads. These permits can range from short road closures for
parades
or filming, to major excavations by utilities
installing or maintaining underground pipes or cables.
If
you are a contractor planning to carry out work on the roads in this
district, or if you have an event that will affect traffic, you will
need a
Traffic
Management Plan
If you
are carrying out excavation works, please contact our
Roading Engineer for further
information.
