Parks and Reserves

Papakura enjoys a good all year round climate which makes it ideal for relaxing in the great outdoors. The District is fortunate to have a large number of well maintained Council parks and reserves for our community and visitors to enjoy.

Since 1985 residents of Papakura have had the opportunity to plant a tree for a baby born each year from June to June. The aerial map shows the positions of trees planted from 1985 to 2011.
