The Papakura
Museum traces the city's history back to Papakura's first settlement in
1847, and includes a record of the military presence that has been here
since the 1860s. The reflection of this past is recorded through an
array of over 10,000 items and photographs. Research enquiries are
welcome. Open Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday or
email the museum.
