Sir Edmund Hillary Library
The Sir
Edmund Hillary Library is funded from Rates, collected by the Council
and offers a wide range of services for adults and children. Stocked
with over 80,000 items, including books, large print magazines, audio
books, videos, DVDs, compact discs and sheet music, all available for
borrowing. Newspapers from all of New Zealand main centres are also
available at the Library.

Free membership is available to all residents and ratepayers of Papakura
and Franklin Districts with ID and proof of address. Children aged 14
years and under can join free of charge, no matter where they live. Find
