Sir Edmund Hillary Library
The Sir
Edmund Hillary Library is funded from Rates, collected by the Council
and offers a wide range of services for adults and children.
Stocked with
over 80,000 items, including books, large print magazines, audio books,
videos, DVDs, compact discs and sheet music, all available for
borrowing. Newspapers from all of New Zealand main centres are also
available at the Library.
Free
membership is available to residents and ratepayers of Papakura and
Franklin Districts with ID and proof of address. All young people aged
17 years and under can join free of charge.
