The
Council's District Plan became operative on
16 June 1999 (Minute No.
99/224). This approval
was given pursuant to c17, First Schedule,
Resource Management Act 1991.
All inquiries for planning advice should be
directed

Customer Service Centre
or telephone 09 295 1300.
An update service is
available
to registered holders of the District Plan. This service
provides holders with copies of Plan Changes as they are notified,
decisions on these Plan Changes, and any changes to the Operative
District Plan. This service is provided for an
annual fee of $50 (GST
inclusive). An order form
is available from
Customer Services.
District Plan Documents
The Papakura District Plan
is made up of three parts. In order to establish the context of the
District Plan, a number of district-wide resource management matters are
discussed in
Section One of the document.
Section Two, Rural Papakura, covers the rural parts of the District
and
Section Three, Urban Papakura, covers the urban parts of the
District.
For ease of reference and to
enable faster downloading, each Section is available for download, as
are the individual parts of each section.

Sets out the resource
management provisions for the rural parts of the District. The
localities covered include Takanini, Ardmore, the Hunua foothills,
Drury, Karaka and Hingaia.

District Plan -
Section Three: Urban Papakura
The specific provisions of
Section Three are directed solely at Urban Papakura and the localities
covered include Central Papakura, Takanini, Conifer Grove, Drury and two
areas of settlement at Bottletop Bay and Hingaia Bridge. Further, the
two areas of quarrying activity and Ardmore Aerodrome fall within the
scope of Section Three of the District Plan.
