If you are a community group or non-profit organisation you can advertise your event in Papakura by booking space in the Information Kiosk or on the Community Noticeboards located throughout the District. All events advertised must be local with a maximum two week allocation period. If demand is low, a longer period may be able to be negotiated. No commercial advertising is allowed and a bond of $30.00 is required for the key and refunded on return. To book a community noticeboard for your event, contact the Council's Customer Service Centre on 295 1300 between 8.00am and 5.00pm Monday to Friday. Four boards maximum. Boards to be supplied by the user on tanilised construction plywood (1200 x 1200 x 12.5mm) Normally bought in sheets of 2400mm length (two boards from one sheet). Note that the Council retains the right to refuse or remove any signage deemed unsuitable or inappropriate. |
